Bellingham Marine proudly presents its 10th Annual Marine Photo Contest, an event dedicated to celebrating the beauty, innovation, and community spirit of the waterfront. Each year, we invite photographers of all skill levels—professionals, hobbyists, and marina enthusiasts—to showcase their unique perspectives on life around the water.
This contest isn’t just about winning prizes; it’s about telling stories through images. From breathtaking sunrise reflections over docks to the intricate details of floating dock systems, we want to see how the marine environment inspires you.
Submit your marina photo for a chance to be featured in Bellingham Marine’s 2018 calendar!
Bellingham, WA, USA – 30 June 2017 – Bellingham Marine, worldwide marina design-build construction company, announced today they are accepting entries for their 10th annual photo calendar contest. The calendar features striking images from professional and amateur photographers alike, highlighting the beauty of Bellingham marinas across the globe.
This year, in addition to bragging rights and international recognition, winners will receive a Brenthaven Collins Backpack as a token of thanks. Individuals interested in entering the contest are invited to submit entries by September 8th. The only image requirement is that the photo include a Bellingham Marine product. If you are unsure whether your photo meets contest qualifications, please email Bellingham at bmi@bellingham-marine.com for verification. If your image was taken at a marina with a concrete dock, chances are it’s a Bellingham Marine marina.
“We’ve been overwhelmed at the level of talent that has shown up in our photo contest in previous years and we look forward to even more great entries this year. We enjoy seeing how people capture the amazing beauty and unique qualities of each marina,” said Roxie Comstock, Manager of Business Enhancement for Bellingham Marine.
“There’s no shortage of breathtaking subjects; we’ve built marinas in some of Earth’s most beautiful locales. Winning a spot in this contest is a tremendous opportunity for a photographer; we distribute our calendar globally to over 4,000 people so there is quite a bit of international exposure.”
Guidelines: Submitted photos must be taken at a marina with a Bellingham Marine product and must be of high resolution and high quality. All images must be submitted electronically as an attachment and sent to bmi@bellingham-marine.com. If your image is too large to send via email, please contact us for options. Multiple submissions from the same entrant are allowed. All entries must be submitted by September 8, 2017 to be considered. Emails should contain the name of the individual submitting the photo, contact information, and the name and location of the marina pictured.
Winners will be announced Monday, October 2nd and the selected photos will be featured in the Bellingham Marine 2018 calendar. For a free copy of the calendar, please send us a request.
