Bellingham Marine's bolted concrete dock, known as the Unibolt® system, stands out in the industry for its unique features.
Encased entirely in concrete, it incorporates a three-part bolt design to prevent metal fatigue. Notably, connection bolts can be replaced without disassembling modules or removing walkway sections from their piles, offering convenience and flexibility for potential repairs.

Unibolt® FAQs
What is the Unibolt® concrete dock system?
Unibolt® is Bellingham Marine’s bolted concrete floating dock. Each module is encased in concrete and joined to the next with a bolted connection that uses a three-part bolt design to prevent metal fatigue.
How is Unibolt® different from Unifloat®?
Both are concrete floating docks built for a service life of 50+ years. Unifloat® modules are connected by walers – structural beams along the edge of the dock – while Unibolt® modules are bolted directly together. See both systems on our concrete floating docks page.
Can the connection bolts be replaced?
Yes. Unibolt® connection bolts can be replaced without disassembling the modules or removing walkway sections from their piles.
How long does a Unibolt® dock last, and how much maintenance does it need?
Unibolt® docks are designed for 50+ years of service life with near-zero maintenance, and the concrete is fire and rot resistant.
What options are available?
