Project overview
The Marina at the Marina City Club fronts the Ritz-Carlton and the Marina City Club in Marina del Rey, California. When it began a multi-million dollar renovation in 2013, Bellingham Marine was hired as the design/build general contractor, including navigating the permitting process.
- The old docks were removed one row at a time and replaced with Unifloat® concrete floating docks, so boaters could stay in the marina throughout the rebuild.
- Upgraded utilities and amenities, plus a new public pump-out at the end of E-2800 dock.
- Work in a busy urban site with limited staging areas; a final phase rebuilt the upland promenade.
