Bellingham Marine has just completed the new Anchorage Marina in Hobson’s Bay, Williamstown at the mouth of the Yarra River.
The 80+ Berth marina comprises floating berths from 8 -15metres long with 20 dedicated visitors’ berths offering the perfect location to either cruise the Yarra or spend the day on the bay.
The marina is attached to the famous Anchorage Restaurant owned and operated by the O’Hare family who have served the boating community for the past 22 years. Services such as hire boats, charter boats, new and used boat sales, brokerage and general marine services will also be available.
The site of the marina and restaurant was the original Parsons’ boatshed and jetty that was built in the 1890’s. Parsons ran a boat hire and marine services business catering to the numerous tall ships and steam ships that used to frequent Hobson’s Bay.
