Port Deposit, Maryland, on the east bank of the Susquehanna River, boasts many examples of Victorian and granite architecture. Now, this community is also home to a full-service marina that provides Chesapeake Bay boaters with all they need to launch, service and store their craft.
Tome’s Landing Marina recently contracted Bellingham Marine to supply and install a Unideck floating dock system, consisting of 8′ x 160′ and 8′ x 60′ courtesy piers. Both include 8′ x 34′ returns and are anchored to the bulkhead by removable, heavy-duty stiff arms to withstand the current of the Susquehanna. The marina has a new 150′ wide x 122′ long rack-supported boat storage facility with 40′ high eaves. This sturdy building can store 140 boats, some as large as 40′ and 20,000 pounds.
The south retail side of the structure measures 50′ wide x 122′ long. The professionals at Tome’s Landing also sell new and used boats and provide factory authorized service in a state-of-the-art repair shop. Engine technicians are Mercury and MerCruiser certified and provide such services as powerhead rebuilds, repowers and sterndrive repairs.
Bellingham Marine designs, manufactures and installs Unifloat floating dock systems, Unideck fresh water dock systems and Unistack dry storage buildings for marinas and boat service facilities worldwide.
