With easy access to San Diego Bay and the blue Pacific, Cabrillo Isle Marina, located on Harbor Island, has completed its renovation begun in the 1980s. Almar Management contracted Bellingham Marine for this truly turnkey design/build project. This second phase of the rebuild saw the design, manufacture and installation of 172 slips, using Bellingham’s Unifloat concrete floating docks to accommodate boats from 9m to 41m. Cabrillo Isle Marina is now home to 425 wet slips.

In addition to working with the owner to better utilize water space, Bellingham provided full services, including acquiring all necessary permits, installing a public pump-out and constructing an ADA-compliant gangway. In a location where slip space is in such high demand, a phasing plan was developed to minimize the impact on tenants.

Cabrillo Isle Marina boasts a beautifully landscaped facility with adjacent restaurants, parking for 320 vehicles and newly renovated laundry and showers. The marina is minutes from two fuel docks, marine stores, specialty shops and fresh fish markets. An additional benefit is that members have reciprocal privileges at all other Almar marinas.
