Project overview
Pelican Rest Marina is on the north side of Offatts Bayou in Galveston, Texas, at the “Gateway to Galveston” beside the Gulf Freeway. After Hurricane Ike damaged the area in 2008, the owner rebuilt it as a high-end marina for 60-foot-plus sport fishing yachts within a mixed-use upscale complex.
- The slips were built in two phases, completed in 2011 and 2013.
- Bellingham Marine won the 2012 contract for phase two, supplying 3,327 linear feet of concrete floating docks.
- Deep water, gas and diesel, high-capacity power, potable water and Wi-Fi at the slips.
