Description

Stockton Marina, a state-of-the-art marina located along the Stockton Channel in Northern California offers modern yacht moorage for permanent and visiting boaters. A promenade provides a natural link between the marina and nearby public destinations including a sports arena and ballpark.

A transient dock on the south side of the basin provides direct access to shopping, local parks, an outdoor amphitheater and numerous other attractions.

Project overview

The new marina in downtown Stockton, California, on the Stockton Channel replaced the city’s dilapidated original marina. Bellingham Marine supplied the concrete docks from its plant in Dixon, California, and construction was completed in 2009.

  • Six main piers: three side-tie docks and three main arms for boats from 50 to 80 feet.
  • Forty-eight 50 ft slips, twelve 60 ft slips and six 80 ft slips, each with water, power, cable and phone.
  • 878 ft of transient side-tie moorage on the north side and a 520 ft transient dock on the south side, close to the arena, ballpark and amphitheater.
  • A fabric roof system mounted to the dock piling shelters the 50 ft slips.
