Anchorage 47 is located in Marina del Rey, California. Los Angeles County of Beaches and Harbors spent $15.5 million on improvements to the marina in 2015. The county hired Bellingham Marine to design and install the new marina improvements and upgrade landside utilities.

A beautiful new paver promenade was installed, which was skirted with energy saving LED lights. The marina also features a custom security gate and gangway and a special kayak launch and storage dock.
