Project overview
Marina del Rey Marina wraps around a peninsula next to the historic Marina del Rey Hotel in Marina del Rey Harbor, California – America’s largest man-made harbor. Its rebuild began in 2014 and was completed in seven phases, the last finishing in May 2020.
- The 349-slip layout was redesigned into 277 slips with thirteen end ties from 35 to 65 feet.
- Bellingham Marine concrete floating docks with the first-ever US use of FRP (fiberglass reinforced polymer) walers and thru-rods.
- FRP walers resist rust and decay, need less maintenance and give the docks a longer service life.
